At least one report disputes that account and instead puts the cause of his death as injuries he sustained from being shot during street protests on June 15, 2009. His body was buried in his home town, one of the villages in the city of Yasouj on June 19, 2009.

Mohsen was a graduate student in computer engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Tehran. His father was a high-ranking official in the Ministry of Health, and an adviser to defeated presidential candidate Mohsen Rezaee. He was arrested on July 9, 2009, and transferred to Evin prison. He died in prison. His body was reportedly bearing marks of torture and ill-treatment.
Amirhossein, a father with a seven-year-old daughter, disappeared on June 15. After searching Tehran hospitals for a week to no avail, his distraught family identified him among photos of corpses at the coroner’s office. Marks on his corpse included a deep gash in the head, a broken arm, and gunshot wounds in the arm, but the exact cause of death was unclear.

Fearing arrests, he did not go to the hospital for 12 days. On day 12, his family decided to take him to the hospital, but they were turned away and told to go back tomorrow. On the morning of day 13, his wife found him dead.

Professor of Shahid Chamran University in Ahwaz, was shot in a rally in Baharestan square. He died during transfer to one of the hospitals in Tehran. His body was later transported home by one of his friends and returned to his family in Ahwaz. His funeral was held under observation of the security forces.
Yaghoub was a graduate student in Theatre in the University of Tehran. Yaghoub was shot in the head outside the Lolagar mosque as he and two friends were returning from rehearsing a play. He was taken to hospital where he died on June 25, 2009.

Farzad Jashni was killed on June 20, 2009 in Tehran. He was born in Abdanan, in Elam province. His body was buried in Abdanan under heavy security presence.
Bahman jenabi was 20, and worked at an HVAC shop in Tehran. According to eye witnesses he was shot dead by security forces during the protests.

Salar Tahmasbi, 27, was a post graduate student of Commerce Management University of Rasht. He was killed on June 20, 2009 in Tehran, Jomhoori Street by a bullet into his forehead. Salar was buried on June 23rd in Tehran’s cemetery, Behesht Zahra, plot 254.
25 year old Hossein was killed on June 15, 2009 in Kermanshah after being attacked by security forces.
17 year old carpet seller Meysam Ebadi was killed in Sadeghiyeh in Tehran on June 13, 2009. According to reports, he was returning home from work when he was shot in the stomach and died on the street. He was buried in Behesht e Zahra cemetry.
21 year old Abolfazl was killed by a bullet to the back of the head on June 20, 2009 in front of the Sharif university. He was buried in Behesht e Zahra cemetery in plot 248. He had an associate degree in Electrical engineering.
22 year old Hamid Hossein Beyg Araghi, was killed on Enghelab St by a bullet to his heart. He is buried in Behesht e Zahra cemetery in Tehran.

Mostafa Kiarostami, 22 was clubbed by Basij and plain clothes security forces in front of Tehran University during Friday prayer conducted by Hashemi Rafsanjani on July 22 so badly that he could not return home. He called his mother for help. The family retrieved him from the street and took him to Kasra hospital where he died the same day due to extensive brain injuries. His body was buried in Behesht Zahra cemetery on July 18. He was recently engaged to be married.
A campaigner for opposition candidate Mousavi in Mashhad, Hamid died of a brain hemorrhage after he was released from detention. It is believed that he was tortured and beaten during detention. His funeral was held on July 5, 2009.
24 year old Maryam was shot dead on June 20, 2009 in Tehran.
She was arrested on the June 28, 2009 near Ghoba mosque in Tehran and taken to detention center on Pasdaran. Her severely burnt body was left near city of Ghazvin. It was widely reported that she had been raped during detention.
